Dear Fellow Advisor

The inspiration for the Entry Point Advisor Network comes from my 32 years of on the ground industry experience, the pain so many financial services professionals have shared with me about their businesses, and the amazing feedback from the Advisors with my own retail RIA.  I am incredibly humbled and gratified each time I hear that our efforts to build capable infrastructure and an intuitive advisor experience enabled an Advisor to do extraordinary things for their clients and take their own careers to the next level.

Every day I wake up with a smile, because I know that today is the day that an Advisor will finally muster the courage to leave his Wirehouse to his and his clients benefit and an Agent will decide to not only to leverage our unparalleled product mix but also to use our platform to intuitively accumulate significant securities business – finally capturing and monetizing total share of wallet. In short, I know that my team’s efforts are being 110% deployed to the benefit of the industry, the advisor, and the client.

Since January 31st 1984 – the day I began my career in this business – I have been committed to delivering the very best the business had to offer to my own retail clients. Because of this dedication to my clients, I was consistently the top producer with my firm, recognized as a Top of the Table producer of the Million Dollar Round Table, and maintained the industry’s highest persistency on a 2 year rolling book of business of 98%. During this tenure, I watched the foundation laid on many problems that plague the financial services industry today. Broker Dealers, for example, increasingly became more of a pain than a source of business, products, or support. They also became parasites – eating more and more off my plate as they continued to do less and less for my business. I came to see in the last decade that this trend would not break, and it was time for something new.

Something that let me conduct my business as I knew I should and also to reap the rewards of consistently doing what’s best for my clients. It took many years for me to realize that the industry just did not have what I was looking for. So in 2010 I decided to build my dream, and by the time I was done I saw that it was something that successful Advisors and Agents across the nation would want for themselves.

The Business plan then as now is simple and permeates everything we do at every level across all lines. That plan is:

  3. Never Be A Parasite

Building and adhering to this plan may seem simple, as it did to me at the beginning, but achieving it took many years of dedicated work from myself and an extraordinary team of visionaries, industry veterans, and technology experts. By the end of it, we have the companies and offerings presented to you here.
